First Edition. Original privately printed 105 page shooting script for the Robin Williams film The Final Cut written by Omar Naim. Signed by Robin Williams to a member of the crew: ÒTo Marci, all my love, Robin WilliamsÓ at a color photo of Robin Williams in character. Beautifully bound in purple cloth and quarter purple leather with bright gilt-stamping to the front board and spine, decorative endpapers, 8 5/8 inches by 11 1/4 inches. All edges are gilt. Minor sunning to the spine and a few minor scuffs to the gilt-stamping at the front board, else fine. Unbeknownst to the many admirers of Robin Williams was that he was a lover of books. Over the years, Williams had his own private press specially printing on fine papers and handsomely binding editions of the screenplays of some of the films he appeared in. They were all printed in very small quantities. Williams would sign them and then they would be sent to members of the cast and crew of the productions. As a unique item, this is a special opportunity to honor and celebrate WilliamsÕs love of his craft, his love of books, and his appreciation of the people who helped to bring his films to life. The Final Cut was written and directed by Omar Naim, starring Robin Williams Jim Caviezel, and Mira Sorvino. The film tells the story set in the near future where one in twenty people have a device implanted at their birth which records what the host sees over a lifetime. Robin Williams plays a ÒcutterÓ - someone who edits these memories, removing the bad ones, so that the family can have a ÒrememoryÓ of their loved oneÕs life. Trouble arises when he encounters some very damning memories in the implant of an early tech executive who helped to develop the science behind the implantÕs functioning and gets caught up in a far-reaching criminal scheme.
