Monochrome illustrations in the text; a few plates from photographs (including frontispiece). 54 pages of advertisements at rear. Wraps soiled; corners creased; spine cracked and worn with loss at head and tail. Pages with occasional spots and marks; a few pencil annotations. Gutters starting to crack in several places.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Hardcover. Green cloth-covered boards with no lettering or stamping on the covers or spine. Most likely rebound from it's original boards. Pencil markings on half-title page. Title page is dated 1891. No copyright page. 91 pages, plus a black-and-white photo of four people in suits and top hats titled "The train is due". Included in the back is a 39 page "Catalogue of Photographic Appliances manufactured by W. Tylar at 57, High St. Aston, Birmingham". Interiors are clean and unmarked. A few chapters are titled "Apparatus", "Exposure", "Development","Printing Papers". A very good copy.
