Covers are clean and unmarked, although there is some rubbing, especially to spine, making gold lettering appear quite faded. Corners as well as head and foot of spine have some she…lf-wear, and there is some very light chipping to cloth over spine. Gutter is cracked in front and rear of book, but binding remains strong and does not appear compromised. Previous owner's bookplate on front attached endpaper. Pages are slightly toned, but are otherwise unmarked and text is clear and bright. Overall, a very good copy.
