Front board shows illustration of the Rev. Sunday. Exterior shows spotting and scuffing along with edge and corner bumps. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Pages are toned due to age… and scattered foxing and spotting/smudge marks are present. We did find a corner fold at page 131 which has been straightened out. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. Only evidence of handwriting found in book is on the front end page where there is faint markings in the upper corner where a price was once penciled and then later erased.

The unique aspect of this biography is the blending of many newspaper accounts of the Sunday campaigns as well as several drawings taken from newspapers depicting the Sunday campaigns. Also, there is an extensive index at the back of the book listing the chapter titles and subtitle materials in each chapter. The pages of this choice volume are browing but it is ready to handle and puruse as a collector's treasure.
