Bookplate on the inside front cover with the name of J.M. Rusk, Secretary of Agriculture. Above the printed name on the bookplate the phrase 'Compliments of' has either been written in or else it was pre-printed on the bookplate. Beneath the bookplate is a small purple rubberstamp with the name Remington Kellogg, who was the Ass't Secretary of the Smithsonian. Finally, this volume comes from the collection of Dr. Thomas Lovejoy, who was a passionate book collector as well as a renowned biologist.
