The author examines seasonal changes and the events of autumn through the lens of an enthusiastic naturalist. From the harvesting of crops to the arrival of migrant birds, the book paints a vivid picture of the rhythms of the English countryside. The author's keen observations extend beyond the natural world to encompass the relationship between the seasons and human activities, such as hunting and farming. This book is not only a celebration of the beauty of the English countryside but is also a meditation on time, change, and the interconnectedness of all things. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
