'Lord Nelson's Funeral Music' penned verso front board, and a shop sticker. Lacking title page, fairly large piece cut from upper outer corner of first leaf (not affecting printed material), and generally creased, browned and stained throughout, some edges reinforced with paper. Some pencil indications of musical dynamics added throughout. Although far from perfect, lacking the title page and the additional four page Ceremonial found in some copies, a nevertheless uncommon relic of one of Britain's most significant state funerals. It was the first to take place in St Paul's Cathedral, combining Evensong with a BCP Funeral Service, and a choir of eighty singers from St Paul's, Westminster Abbey and the Chapel Royal. Only eight copies found in OCLC.
