Hardcover. Condition: Good. Very nice blind stamped designs on covers and spine with gold lettering and design on spine which is bright. The covers are in very good condition for their age. Light wear and bumping on corners and upper edges. Chipping and wear to spine ends with a small piece missing on the bottom spine end. Light shelf wear and soiling to covers. Inside front hinge is cracked but still firmly attached. Yellowing and light soiling to page ends. Inside hinge is weak in places but still firmly attached. Text is yellowed due to age with occasional foxing or soiling to front margins. Occasional uncut pages. The illustrations, some being full page are in very good condition. Part I details th general aspect and the apparent motions of the heavens. Part II is a description of the superior planets of the Solar System. A very interesting book with a beautiful cover that is in very good condition for its age. All of our books are individually inspected and described. Never ex-library unless explicitly described as such.
