Condition: Fair. 1888. First Edition. 257 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Illustrated dust jacket over beige paper boards. Contains black and white illustrations. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Spine strip is missing and replaced with beige tape. Rough-cut pages are moderately tanned throughout. Mild cracking to gutters, on occasion, with front free endpaper slightly loose to bottom edge. However, binding throughout remains firm. Text block edges are darkened, with occasional marks throughout. Text is unaffected. Library stamps to covers and pages throughout. Paper covers have moderate edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and curling to corners. Visible wear marks to covers. Clipped jacket.
