Paperback small quarto, very good condition, full-page colour photos, faint foxing edges, last page lightly toned, minor edgewear. 95 pp. The author was born and spent her early childhood in the Mekong Delta, the rice bowl of Vietnam. These recipes from her mother's kitchen range from delicious simple dishes, quickly prepared, to banquet meals for the more experienced cook. Illustrations are brilliant colour photos of completed dishes, but techniques such as folding rice papers are b/w drawings. Book opens with a glossary and closes w/ an INDEX. Cond : Paper wrapper is greenish w/ black or white lettering. Cover graphic is a colour photo of Grilled Pork Balls and Skewered Beef (back). VERY minor wear at some corners, edges sharp, colours bright. Binding tight, spine fine !! No names nor marks. Neither tears, stains nor folds. Very minor creases, clean. Decidedly giftable !!
