Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Moderate water staining to front panel. Mild tanning to spine. Notable rubbing and marking all over.

A little browning to the page edges with scattered spotting. Browning and light spotting to the endpapers with a bookseller's label to the front pastedown. The pages are otherwise unmarked. The price-clipped jacket has quite heavy surface browning and spotting and chipping along the top edge where it has been allowed to ride up the book leading to the fading to the boards at the bottom.
