Red/brown textured cloth boards with titles and picture of the dome of St Paul's Cathedral stamped in gilt to front, titles in gilt to spine, oval pattern blind stamped to back cover, green epps, frontispeice b&w sketch of Eleanor Cross, 304pp with 9 uncut pp of index and advertisement for ' Domestic Service Guide' to rear. Top and tail of spine worn with small tear to top and 2cm tear to hinge at bottom, and small tear half way down spine, light foxing to front pages, neat dedication in ink to ffep. Overall, a clean tight copy, with really interesting detail about the city. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" Landscape.
