Paperback. Condition: Like New. First Edition. In nearly new condition: firm and square with strong joints, no creases. Just a few hardly noticeable rubs or very mild bumps. Hence a non-text page shows a small 'damaged' stamp. Despite such this book looks and feels unread. Thus the contents are crisp, fresh and tight. And so a very nice book in great condition, now offered for sale at a reasonable price.

Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. You believe in Jesus. You serve Him. But do you truly love Him most? You attend church, serve faithfully, and believe the right things. But something feels quietly off. There is a gap between what you profess and what your heart actually treasures. You love comfort. You love approval. You love the life you have built. None of these things are sinful, but somewhere along the way, they slipped into the place only Jesus was meant to fill. You are not rebellious. You are not walking away. You are just slowly drifting, and you can feel it.In Love Jesus More: Drawing Closer to the One who Captures Your Heart, minister Kyle Timmons offers a disarmingly honest confession: he preached Jesus, served Jesus, and believed in Jesus, but secretly loved other things more. Rooted in the Apostle Paul's stunning declaration in Philippians 3:8, this book traces a path from divided affection to wholehearted devotion. Timmons does not pile on guilt or demand more discipline. Instead, he invites you to see Jesus so clearly that every competing love loses its grip. This is not about trying harder. It is about treasuring deeper.Inside these pages, you will discover: - Why good things quietly become ultimate things, and how to recognize the subtle drift before it defines you- How beholding the supremacy and beauty of Christ reawakens genuine, lasting affection- A path from dutiful faith to a living, joyful surrender that transforms every part of your lifeFor the weary believer, the wandering heart, and anyone hungry for a faith that is alive rather than merely routine, this book is a window back to the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Rather than another historical novel, My Lost Mexico offers readers a fascinating behind-the-scenes account of how James A. Michener created one of his most celebrated works, Mexico. Drawing upon his journals, research notes, personal correspondence, and decades of memories, Michener recounts the remarkable story of a manuscript begun during the late 1950s, abandoned for more than thirty years, and ultimately rediscovered and completed. The volume examines his research throughout Mexico and Spain, his experiences attending bullfights, his creative process, editorial struggles with legendary Random House publisher Bennett Cerf, and the evolution of characters and storylines that eventually shaped the bestselling novel. Particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of the deleted chapter 'The Texas Girls,' omitted from the finished novel, along with numerous photographs taken by Michener during his travels that vividly document the people, landscapes, and culture that inspired his writing. This 1992 State House Press First Edition presents in exceptionally attractive collectible condition. The burgundy cloth binding remains clean and vibrant with sharp gilt lettering on the spine, square boards, and a tight, unread-appearing binding. The interior is bright and remarkably clean with no writing, bookplates, remainder marks, or observed defects. The original dust jacket is not price-clipped and remains bright and glossy with only very light shelf wear, including a few tiny wrinkles along the upper edge and faint handling wear visible primarily under close inspection. Overall condition grades as Near Fine book in Near Fine dust jacket, an outstanding example of this increasingly sought-after Michener collectible. Jacket design by David Timmons (illustrator).

Hardback. Condition: New. Authors, educators and successful entrepreneurs wrote this textbook with the primary goal of maximising your chance of entrepreneurial success. It is designed to encourage those wanting to start a business and those who have already begun. It includes guidance, instruction and practical lessons for the prospective entrepreneur. The book focuses on early stage financing of a start-up company, beginning with an emphasis on constructing an effective business plan, including writing techniques to help convey your message, and preparing solid financial statements. This 'why' and 'how' of writing a business plan is followed by recommendations on raising outside capital. Important topics include developing your marketing strategy, recruiting and managing creatives and managers, and retaining effective employees. Legal structures, negotiation strategies, and economic evaluation of opportunities are also discussed. The book concludes with a chapter on project management. It includes many engineering economy topics, sufficient for those taking the FE exam.
