There is also loss on the jacket at the same corner, with the loss extending up the flap fold another couple of inches. In addition, there are small chips at the spine ends and a closed tear at the top of the front panel. Signed "George 'Slim' Lewis/The Elephant Tramp" on the front endpaper. A decent copy of this autobiography of a man who spent his life training circus elephants. Signed by Author.

Wrinkles & wear inside the back cover & on the back endpaper. Light foxing & age darkening inside. 5 of 5 one page colour plates, all clean, + 1 two page colour plate with darkening on the edges.
