Collection of eleven essays by various "outdoor" editors, three of which were published here for the first time. Three small hand corrections in ink on the "Biographical Tippets" page. Includes a loosely laid in prospectus for the book and a tipped in bookmark with an attached feather for a fly. A manuscript note attached to the front pastedown identifies the book as having belonged to Judith Bowman (the famous book dealer, specializing in fishing and hunting.) .
