Condition: Fair. 1893. 3rd edition. 224 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Upper text block edge gilt. Pages have deckled edges. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Hinges are cracked, however text block remains firm. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. A few dog-eared corners. Some water staining and warping, mostly to pastedowns and endpapers. Boards have some edge wear, with some bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and rubbed. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Heavy water staining to front and rear, with some warping and bubbling too. Book has a moderate forward lean. Heavy dented board edges.
