33x37 cm. Large photograph mounted on dark matting board. Very good condition. Shows the Tompkins Brothers, Albert and Ira, standing in front of their invention, a large (probably 10 ft. tall) circular knitting machine which is manufacturing two rolls of tubed textiles from six large spools of white yarn at its base. The company is still in business (as Tompkins USA) in the same building which is has occupied since 1919. The company has been located in Syracuse, NY since 1914. This image clearly predates that move. Another copy of this image can be seen on the Tompkins USA web site.
