Hard cover. Condition: Very Good+. First Edition. Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 456 pages; HC in black cloth covered boards; gilt stamped titling spine. Binding sqaure and firm. Prior owner name faintly to ffep and dated 1872. Very mild bump to lower corners and a very mild fray head of spine. Binding has no splits; text unmarked. An important contributor to the American Labor Movement. VG+ Scarce.
