Some edge wear, chipping and creasing to top and bottom of largely pale grey jacket and spine, corners and folds rubbed, corners bruised, 1" loss to top of spine, some slight overall dust and time staining, price clipped, gift inscription to top ffep, internally clean tight and almost square, overall a vg+ copy for its age. 224pp. An intriguing tale of undercover activities in North Africa, based on colourful Arab superstitions of the 'Silver Hand of Alexander the Great' and its mysterious powers as a talisman.
