Après avoir étudié à Vérone, Venise et Rome, celui-ci fut nommé par le pape Paul II professeur de rhétorique à l'université de Rome. Après avoir été secrétaire pontifical de Sixte IV, il accompagna en 1476 le cardinal Giuliano della Rovere à Avignon durant sept mois. Il mourut de la peste à Rome en 1478.
