Includes some black & white photographs and illustrations. Index. Bound in black cloth with gilt lettering printed on cover and spine. Slight dust spots to covers; clean within. In the gray slipcase, which has light wear. A worthy first-person account of Westward expansion as far north as the Columbia River, by a "careful and discreet observer," per Malcolm Edwards. Presented here in a refined Ward Ritchie publication.
