Orange card covers, neatly laced.Original and excellent, very comprehensive Restricted reference on all Japanese Naval Vessels as known at the time. First published November 1942. Includes Battleships, Heavy cruisers, light cruisers, Aircraft carries, Destroyers, Auxiliaries etc. c.300pp., photographs and very high quality silhouettes together with data on each vessel including armament and protection. Errata sheet at rear issued March 1943 and index to all Japanese naval vessels issued 12/ 44. Some blemishes to covers and rear of errata sheet. Overall still very good condition.

No pagination, 5 guide cards (Battleships, Carriers, Cruisers, Destroyers, Auxiliaries), 6 pages "Nip Notes", 12 pages "Table of Contents", 1 page "Range Table", then 130 pages for: 30 Battleships / 40 Aircraft Carriers / 50 Cruisers / 10 Destroyers. Then 32 pages on German Naval Vessels (1 Mistaken Identity / 6 Submarines / PT Boats / Tank Landing Crafts. Camouflage). Then 3 pages on Japanese Navy Fighter (JACK), dated October 1944. On first page of German Naval Vessels: Stamp "Received: Mar. 5 - 1943 USS Maryland, Captain Office". Binding: Card covers laced together through 3 punch holes. Covers with light wear and soiling. A very good copy with no inscriptions or markings and quite a rare item. Oblong: 15 x 25.5. Present edition, goes up to the Fubuki Class (Hibiki Group), and does not include "Destroyers of Hatsuharu Class. Submarines, Mine laying submarines, Minor Combatant Types, Naval Auxiliaries.
