Moritz Tramer (1882-1963) arbeitete schon während des Studiums im Institut von Constantin v. Monakow in Zürich. Nach dem Studium arbeitete er in der Heil- und Pflegeanstalt Münsingen und promovierte mit dieser Arbeit bei Eugen Bleuler. Die theoretisch-wissenschaftliche Fragestellung wurden bei der Behandlung in den Vordergrund gestellt und allgemeine Probleme in die Betrachtung eingezogen. Es ist natürlich das diese erste systematische Darstellung eines weiteren Ausbaues, der durch eigene oder ev. fremde Arbeit geliefert werden soll, bedürftigt bleibt. ."
