Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. B&W illustrations (illustrator). Sewn binding in cloth-covered boards, in dustjacket. This title hard to find in hardcover. Atypically for Philosophical Library, the book is signature sewn in real cloth covers, and is quite attractive. The binding is firm, with intact hinges and square spine. No marks. Condition rated "Good only," however, because there is considerable ***foxing*** of the paper throughout. Small bookstore label ("Ideal Bookstore, 1125 Amerstam Ave. Opp. Columbia Univ. New York 25, N.Y.") on front pastedown has transferred a little ink to opposite endpaper. Unclipped dustjacket is worn and soiled, with edgewear including losses at the spine ends, and sun-toning of the spine.
