    Seven vintage publicity photographs of actress Lucille Ball, shot in conjunction with the production of the 1946 film, "Lover Come Back." Ms. Ball is shown wearing a number of gowns designed by noted Golden Age costume designer Travis Banton. Five with credit stamps for still photographer Ray Jones on the verso, and two with printed mimeo snipes affixed to same. In 1946, Ball also starred in the film noir "The Dark Corner" opposite Clifton Webb and William Bendix. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 8 x 10 inches.
