Pages are quite heavily age-tanned. Lean to spine. Bump marks to the lower board edges. Gift inscription to the first blank end-paper. The jacket has numerous small chips and tears, most notably to the ends of the spine and flap folds. Both front and rear flaps have only a tenuous hold on the jacket proper. Jacket now protected and considerably enhanced by a clear, removable sleeve.
