Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Original edition (not a facsimile). Mild curl to the lower front cover, faint stain to the front cover, else very good in side-saddle stapled illustrated wraps. Internally near fine. Quarto (7 3/4" by 10 5/8"). 20 pages. Illustrated with over 50 informative photographs plus one plan. Includes: "A General Description of the Hoffman Triangle Parachute." "Instructions to the Jumper." "How to Pack the Triangle Parachute." The parachute was designed by Edward Lincoln Hoffman (1884-1970) who was a U.S. Army Air Service who created a team to develop the first modern parachute. "The Last Word in Parachutes"--by Hoffman. The parachute was "Perfected by the man who was presented the Collier Trophy in 1927 by President Coolidge for his parachute work." A VERY SCARCE SURVIVING BOOKLET.
