Slim hardcover in brown pictorial boards. Binding is rubbed and bumped about the edges but sound. Text is toned at the edges. With color illustrations by Uldene Trippe.

Short closed tear at top edge of page 9-10 and another close tear at bottom of page11-12. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

There is some corner bumping and edge wear, board showing. Interior text is quite clean and solid in it's binding. Some spotting on boards. Binding is tight and uncocked. Line and color illustrations. Owner's name has been penciled on the front end paper. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

This work is very attractively illustrated with color pictures by Uldene Trippe. The full-page color illustrations are especially attractive. Contains dozens of children's rimes by Forster.

The text is slightly yellowed with age but is solid in it's binding. The color illustrations remain crisp. Minor foxing on the end papers. The text is clean and solid in it's binding. The dust jacket is a light cream color that may have been white. It has darkened and spotted slightly with age. There is some wear and chipping on the edges, especially on the top and bottom edges of the spine section. We have placed it in a protective cover. The box has fared the worst with age. It has worn edges and has darkened and the corners have been taped together. The box top is mostly red with a large white section on the top that repeats the cover illustration of the book. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Boxed.
