Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Rare numbered set: Each book states "This edition is limited to three hundred and fifty copies of which this is No. 214 [number written by hand in red ink]. All books are #214 except V2 is #325 and V3 is #335. Each book has a vivid colored title page and vibrant b/w engraving with tissue paper and numerous illustrations throughout. Olive-cloth covered boards are in good to very good condition with sunning on spine, corner bends, light spine bumps and fraying, light rubbing and some stains (see photos for exact marks), but overall attractive; paper labels are toned, rubbed, and have water spots/stains. Top edge gilt, other edges hand cut, see photos. End papers and interior pages very good+ condition with no ownership marks or writing observed. Pages are clean, illustrations are stunningly vibrant, all tissue frontispieces (throughout book) observed were intact. All bindings are sturdy except for V8 is cracked at gutter, see last photo.
