Softcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. First Edition. Brookhaven National Laboratory Series Publication (BNL 65615): Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider Workshop (April 1998), prefaced by T. D. Lee, offers unique insights into experiments conducted during the workshop. This softcover book is in Fair condition, with wear and creasing on the spine where it meets the back cover, moderate shelf wear on the softcovers, and some rubbing to the corners. The former owner's hand stamp is marked out on the contents page. Despite these flaws, the binding remains square and tight. The front flyleaf shows a minor abrasion. Interior pages are bright, clean, and unmarked, with some creasing at the bottom corners. The content includes one-page summaries and five transparencies for each talk, with web locations included in the summaries for further information. Email addresses are also listed in the participant list. The topics covered follow the agenda, including gluon dynamics, polarimetry, accelerator advances, W production and quark/antiquark polarization, parity violation searches, transversity, single transverse spin, small angle elastic scattering, and ep collisions at RHIC. Additionally, the full set of transparencies from Bob Jaffe's colloquium on spin is featured. The book will be carefully packaged to ensure its protection during transit. A USPS electronic tracking number will be provided free of charge. Please do not hesitate to reach out for more information or photographs of the book.
