Murdock's discerning essay focuses on geometric abstractions by artists including Jack Tworkov, Ellsworth Kelly, and Michael Heizer. Elizabeth Armstrong, who organized this volume, incisively investigates the work of Pop artists such as Richard Hamilton, Claes Oldenburg, and Roy Lichtenstein. Richard H.
