Minor cover edge and corner wear and light soiling. No marks or stamps. Illustrated throughout with full page color drawings Barker is a little pup who chases rabbits, birds and squirrels. His victims are Thumper the Rabbit, Climber the Squirrel, Squealer the Mouse, Cheeper the Chipmunk, and Climber the Squirrel. Bomps, who apparently is a grandfather (Tyner?), introduces the book with a poem to Freddie and Toby on childhood. Bomps is mentioned again in the story.
