Charming rare book told in rhyme about two children (dolls) Billy & Jean & their Sea Captain friend who decide to visit the Man in the Moon. Photo-illustrations by Skoog show dolls, elves, fairies, sailboat & the port of the moon. Small crease on cover, slight soil on boards. Custom mylar DJ included. RARE.

Trade Paperback. Condition: Good. Matthes, Bud - Drawings (illustrator). Assumed First Edtion. 18 Un-numbered Pages. There is no date or place of publication given. Minor cover edge and corner wear and light soiling. No marks or stamps. Illustrated throughout with full page color drawings Barker is a little pup who chases rabbits, birds and squirrels. His victims are Thumper the Rabbit, Climber the Squirrel, Squealer the Mouse, Cheeper the Chipmunk, and Climber the Squirrel. Bomps, who apparently is a grandfather (Tyner?), introduces the book with a poem to Freddie and Toby on childhood. Bomps is mentioned again in the story.
