Thick octavo. viii, 503, [1] pp. Publisher's blue cloth with gilt spine lettering, embossed copper label mounted on front cover, t.e.g. Inner top corner with a bump else an usually clean and attractive copy of this firm's linotype offerings. Quinn & Boden specialized in fine book printing and were often associated with high-quality, well-bound volumes. Many of the books printed by Quinn & Boden were academic or specialized works, often in limited runs, which added to their reputation for quality.
