Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 2nd Edition. Hardcover, no dust jacket. Stated second edition with original publication being 1947. Copyright page states Revised and Enlarged Edition with the copyright date of 1954. Original blue boards with orange text and design. Boards show minimal wear. Complimentary copy inscription on front end page. Front and rear pastedowns show cellophane tape and tape marks where apparently a cover was taped on. The rear pastedown has a built-in envelope sleeve which houses a pristine copy of the membership list of the Advertising Typographers Association of America, Inc. Pages are clean and bright, binding is tight. Some toning and foxing noted along page edges. Book would have been graded as fine condition but the tape marks on the pastedowns lower it to near fine.
