The translator, Bernhard Dorn (1805-81), was a German professor at St.Petersburg specialising in the history and languages of Iran, Russia, and Afghanistan, and taught the first ever Pashtu class in Europe. The second volume includes a Pashtu grammar and vocabulary. First volume was published in 1829, the second in 1836. xv, 134, 131pp. Two books bound into a single volume.
