Condition: Good. No Edition Stated. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. Pictorial boards with yellow & black lettering. B&W and colour illustrations throughout. Notable foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Presentation plate to front endpaper. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with crushing to spine ends. Small splits to corners and along some edges. Minor scuffing and marking to boards.

Condition: Good. Good condition book without dust jacket. Boards are clean with little wear. Book has clean and bright contents with no inscriptions, some separation of the binding halfway through, unpaginated, B&W drawings and colour plates.

Dark brown cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and in blind, 5.75" tall. Covers lightly rubbed, gilt bright and clear, good hinges, sound text block, old dampstain to far upper inner corner throughout, pages foxed but clean, old color decal of fruit on preliminary blank, no names or other markings. Hard Cover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Previous owner has inscribed front end paper, but generally very good for age. No date apart from the publisher has 1928 in their title. Titlepage with blank area scuffed where pencil inscription was erased. Two text illustrations partially child-coloured, some text highlighted. Printed on thick paper, but some pages have edges worn. 1 volume. Hardcover.
