Rare original hardback edition, written by Officers of the Regiment and very well produced in green cloth, gilt with seperate map pocket at rear. 277pp., ills., maps as called for, sketches, honours and awards. Covers action from Waziristan, via Norway, Crete, Tobruk, Malaya, Italy, N-W Europe, Korea and Greece etc.Ex Aldershot Military library with neat cancelled stamps etc. Covers a little marked and sllight chipping at head of spine and centrefolds to endpapers tender, otherwise very good copy with all loose maps present in wrapper in endpocket. Overall good copy. Rare in original edition.
