This is an annotated estate sale catalogue for the Thorpe Lubenham Estate at Market Harborough being offered for sale at auction on 19th March 1912, the catalogue running to 62 printed pages, a large folio format measuring just under 16 inches tall, illustrated with photographs. The catalogue was issued with a large folding coloured plan of the estate housed in a rear pocket. There are two versions of this map included with this catalogue. Also there are two smaller maps printed on linen showing a section of the estate where the Grand Union Canal runs through the estate, Also included are a later map from the east midlands electricity board along with a document from them relating to proposed routing of electricity poles and wires in part of the estate. Also included is an eight page handwritten document dated 1888, which lays out the first schedule of the settled Thorpe Lubenham Estate. Also a four page handwritten document from the time of the sale in 1912 laying out a short statement of title for the Thorpe Lubenham estate in the counties of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. The main catalogues covers are marked and darkened, internally there is some heavy creasing wear to the centre of the opening pages, this lessens within the catalogue. Heavy creasing to the maps, else condition as seen. A RARE ESTATE SALE CATALOGUE WITH A NUMBER OF IMPORTANT HANDWRITTEN DOCUMENTS AND MAPS RELATING TO THE ESTATE INCLUDED.
