20 x 14 cm. 12 leaves with lithographs, each on thick white paper. Hand-sewn self-wrappers (dark red cloth spine, paper covered boards) with 12 unnumbered leaves of original lithograph illustrations. Original artist book, with handwritten dedication by the artist Pavel Pepperstein, dated October 1994. -- Pavel Pepperstein is an artist, musician, theorist, novelist and film director, born in 1966 in Moscow. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 1985-87, shortly after he co-founded the artist collective "Inspection Medical Hermeneutics, which experimented with language and meaning, particularly in the context of "Glasnost". Pepperstein's works depict fictional and historical characters, often with elements of science fiction and psychedelia. -- Very fine condiiton.
