Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Large quarto. Homemade flexible card wrappers with plastic overlay on wrappers and leaves, reinforced with oak tag at the spine. Small tears, very good or better. 18 gelatin silver photographs. Various sizes, one is very small, but the majority are oversized. Images of nature, subways and subway platforms, hippies being busted by police, smoking pot, and at a rock concert, a military grave and a jet plane contrail; the tiny image appears to be a prom picture. Most of the images are captioned with lyrics from then contemporary rock songs (except one from John-Paul Sartre) including Janis Joplin, Buffalo Springfield, Leonard Cohen, Blind Faith, Neil Young, Dave Mason, and others. None of the songs were originally released after 1970, and most seem to be front 1960-1970. The overarching theme seems to be the grittiness of life and ends with the caption "Let There Be Life". Cosmic, man.
