First mass market paperback printing, has light bumps with creasing and tiny flakes to the spine ends and cover corners, rubbing with scrapes and smudges to the covers and spine, wear to the edges with a short tear to the fore edge of the front cover and first page and a small chip to the tail of the back cover, and soiling to the edges of the text block with shallow damp-wrinkling to the fore edge of most pages. Overall, a solid, tight, Good only reading copy.

First US edition, hardcover, has light bumps to the spine ends, slight wear to the cover edges and corners, some smudges to the fore edge of the text block, and a previous owner's name stamped to the head of the half title page. Overall, a Very Good copy in a Near Very Good, unclipped dust jacket, which has bumps with chips to the spine ends and cover corners, light wear to the cover edges, moderate sun toning to the spine, mild rubbing with a few spots to the covers, and residue from a price sticker to the lower front cover corner. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.
