Paperback. Presumed first edition (no additional printings listed) . Staplebound booklet, 8 1/2 x 11 inches, brown ink on yellow paper, 24 pp, illustrated with photographs. Paperback, very good. Some foxing on covers, upper corner of front cover creased, a bit wavy, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked. History of the pretzel, with some interesting incidents, such as how pretzel bakers saved Vienna from the Turks, how they were made in 1861 and today, directions for properly twisting one, cookbook section, and laid-in "Official Pretzel Twister's Certificate".
