viii, 176 pages, 78 pages of photographs and drawings, 5 tables, 1 map. The Uhle collection of pre-Columbian Peruvian textiles at the University Museum was obtained during an 1896-97 expedition at Pachacamac. This study of approximately 160 textiles from the collection provides excellent data for the entire body of the collection and for each of the individual illustrated textiles. The textiles in the collection include pouches, shrouds, poncho shirts, shawls, bands and borders, and textile fragments.
