Cloth. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Green cloth with stamped title to front; gilt title and decoration to spine. Brown top stain. Author's presentation copy. 12mo: 18.5 x 13 cm. Author portrait bookplate to front endpaper, signed "Roger Vardon when he wrote this book." 16 line poem inscribed to blank and half title; signed by author and dated May 28th, 1937, Peterborough , Ont. Another mounted photograph to blank before page 95 signed "Roger Vardon at 18." Tipped in are two autographed 1 page manuscript poems by the author. One titled "Hearth Visions" signed; one typed on Peterborough Public Library letterhead and signed. Text block clean and square. Small tear to top edge of free front endpaper. Cloth very slightly worn to extremities, mildly scuffed with one stain to front. Very good. A remarkable and unique copy. Signed by Author(s).
