Landscape with a shepherd on horseback on a path, leading a flock of sheep and a cow. Etching on laid paper, sheet size 138 x 103 mm., made by Jacob Elis van Varelen (1756-1824) after his own design, dated 1799. In good condition, cropped to the platemark, and with some (faint) horizontal creasing crossing the image.

Several drinking soldiers on horseback and on foot, near a group of tents, pouring booze from a barrel. Etching on laid paper, sheet size 112 x 77 mm., made by Jacob Elis van Varelen (1756-1824) after his own design, ca. 1800. In excellent condition, but cropped to the platemark.
