Pictorial Cover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. 82 sepia and black & white nude photographs from the Turn of the Century in México. From an unknown photographer known only as JBG, they were made for a high-class Mexican bordello "Casa de Cita" or brothel between 1900 and 1905, and discovered in… 1975 in a flea market in Mexico City. The photographs were originally produced on thin glass plates as sterreoscopic positives. The plates, measuring 6 X 13cm were placed inside a steroscope viewer and held up to the light. By looking through the two eyepieces, the image was reproduced very effectively in 3D. Afterward by Colin Osman. From the private collection of photographer, John Running. Prevous owner's tamp on title page. Cover is rubbed and end papers are foxed but photographs are in very good and clean condition.
