Hardback. The earliest known ancestor of the Pearn family is believed to be William Pearn of St. Gennys, Cornwall, who married Jean Pascoe in 1758. One of his descendants was Jonathon Pearn (1805-1881) who was born in Boscastle, Cornwall and married Elizabeth Carter (1804-1887). They were the parents of ten children. In 1840 Jon…athon and his family immigrated to New Zealand where they settled in New Plymouth. Descendants live in New Zealand and Australia. 1992, Third, revised edition. A fine, unmarked copy in a fine d/w. This copy has been inscribed, dated and SIGNED by the author on the front free endpaper. This copy is no. 201 of a limited edition of only 450 copies and has been double SIGNED by John Pearn as author and patron.
