The book took eight years, from handsetting and machining. First half of the book describes Venables war service. Second part describes his family life on a New Zealand farm. Clean burnt orange cloth on boards with black title and illustration of a soldier on front of cover. Soft touch of a lttle rubbing to spines frontside edge. Eps: illustrated from lino block woodcuts.
