Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. An interesting copy -- laid in loosely is a 1959 program from the San Antonio Symphony's production of Carl Venth's "La Vida de la Mision". The front pastedown of the book is signed by cast members Rosa Sevoia, Jean Sanders, Davis Cunningham, and A.M Autrey, as well as by conductor Victor Alessandro, stage director Emile Renan, and chorus director Bea Henson. It had long been Venth's dream to have this Texas opera produced, and although it was 21 years after his passing, his dream finally came to fruition. Good. No dust jacket, likely as issued. Purple cloth boards with a large, but faint stain to back, fading to spine. Previous owner name on front endpage.
