Hbk, narrow 12mo, 47pp, stated 1st printing, lacks original dj, very good embossed gray-green cloth boards with faded gilt spine titles, slight darkening of the spine but otherwise crisp-cornered and clean, now in custom acetate jacket, internally the pages are lightly and evenly toned but overall a fine, clean, tight and unmarked text, this classic proto-novel of the French Resistance is becoming increasingly hard to find.
